New mobility concepts and market dynamics as well as changed user behavior were important drivers for shortening development times for new vehicles at Daimler AG. Together with those responsible for vehicle development at Daimler AG, we developed an agile transformation concept that included both concrete projects and cultural and structural changes. The focus was on aligning the organization with agile practices and behaviors. In accordance with the level of maturity of the organization, we chose non-dogmatic approaches that created a concrete benefit and that could be implemented by those involved without major hurdles.
